Who are we?

Hello! We're Chloe and Nick, a friendly, reliable and animal-bonkers couple who love to explore.

Chloe, 31: green-fingered, travel-obsessed and animal-mad! I'm lucky enough to work fully remotely as a delivery manager for a fundraising platform, so your pets and I can keep each other company all through the day.

While a nomadic lifestyle offers plenty of adventures, the one thing I really miss is four-legged, furry companions. I've always adored animals: even as a baby I was happiest plonked in the dog's bed! I grew up with a menagerie of pets - dogs, cats, horses, rabbits.. And have since found myself drawn to any opportunity that allows me to spend time with animals: I've worked on farms, in kennels, catteries, volunteered at rescue centres and wherever I find myself, always seem to make a canine buddy to explore with.

Nick, 36: Nick works at the coastguard, he's a friendly, experienced, softie. Nick is equally as animal mad as I am, he ran his very own small holding for 7 years so plenty of experience with sheep, horses, pigs, cows, hens, dogs… you name it! He’s also very handy from a DIY perspective and seems to have an innate ability to make every animal he meets fall in love with him.

Why do we housesit?

Travelling and exploring new places is one of our favourite things to do.. but it's so much better with an animal by our side. Whether that's a dog to take on a hike, a cat to snuggle up with in the evening or collecting eggs from the chickens!

Housesitting gives us the opportunity to discover new places, beautiful walks and enjoy the company of awesome animals while we do it. It's not for everyone but we love this lifestyle!

What experience do we have?

Quite frankly.. oodles! Between us we've housesat all over the world: from a charming little black-and-white cat in Birmingham, to a cattle ranch in outback Australia!

While working on a petting farm in Tasmania, I (Chloe) made very good friends with Terrence (see pig in pic) who I enjoyed my daily lunch breaks with, but was also responsible for everything from horses, to ferrets, to emus! I suppose what I'm trying to say, is I am comfortable and experienced in caring for any and all animals.

Nick has a background in farming, he ran his own for 7 years so is very comfortable and experienced with animals large and small (oh and he's a total softie - every time I turn around he seems to be cuddling an animal of some sort!).

We're respectful, tidy and will treat your home just as we'd like ours to be. I love my gardening so would be very happy to take care of any plants/veggies/gardens while you're away too.
