Hi, I’m Charlie!

I’m a friendly and reliable pet sitter and dog walker based in Ferndown. I also run my own local pet care business, Wesley & Friends, so caring for animals is a big part of my day-to-day life.

I have my own Cocker Spaniel, Wesley, and a cat called Milo, as well as experience caring for a variety of dogs and cats through my regular clients. This includes dog walking, puppy care, drop-in visits, daytime sitting and overnight stays.

Dog walks:
My walks are typically 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your dog's age, energy levels and normal routine. I’m happy to adapt walks for puppies, older dogs or dogs that simply prefer a slower sniffy walk!

I mainly walk around Ferndown and the surrounding areas, using local woods, parks and quieter walking routes where suitable. I always discuss your dog's usual walking habits beforehand, including whether they can be let off lead. I will never let a dog off lead without the owner's permission.

Drop-ins & pet sitting:
Visits can include feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles, litter tray cleaning and anything else your pet normally needs. I can also provide longer daytime sits and overnight pet sitting in your own home.

During booked pet sits, your pets will receive plenty of company and supervision. If I do need to leave the property at any point, I will always discuss this with you beforehand and agree how long your pet is comfortable being left alone. I won't leave a pet for longer than the agreed time.

Looking after your home:
I understand that trusting someone with your home is just as important as trusting them with your pet. I’m DBS checked and will treat your home with care and respect. I make sure doors and windows are securely locked whenever I leave, keep keys and access codes safe and never share them with anyone. I’ll also follow any instructions you give me regarding alarms, key safes or home security.

Before a first booking, I like to arrange a meet and greet so I can get to know you and your pet and learn about their routine, personality, feeding, walks and any little quirks I should know about.

I’m fully insured, DBS checked and pet first aid trained, and I’m always happy to send photos and updates while your pet is in my care.
