I grew up with dogs and cats — my family always had dogs around, and my god mum has kept cats my whole life, so I've been comfortable around both since I was little. I've also had the chance to handle ferrets, so I'm not fazed by the more unusual companions either.
What motivates me is simple: animals are honest. They tell you exactly what they need if you pay attention, and I've always been good at reading that. I'm naturally calm and patient, which anxious or shy pets tend to respond well to. I find that animals relax around me quickly, and I take that trust seriously.
I've pet sat informally for friends over the years, and I'm excited to offer that same care more widely. Every animal has its own personality and preferences, and I genuinely enjoy learning what makes each one comfortable and happy. They deserve someone who pays attention, and that's what I do best.
For dogs, walks of up to 30 minutes or park play sessions of up to 60 minutes are available. For off-lead play, dogs must be well-trained and reliable to ensure their safety and prevent any accidents.
For cats and indoor pets, each visit is a minimum of 30 minutes and includes play time, litter cleaning, fresh water, and food top-ups as standard. Any additional special requirements — such as specific care routines for elderly or medical-needs pets — can be discussed and agreed with owners in advance.
Photo and video updates can be sent to owners during each visit if requested.
