Hi I'm Clare,
Let me tell you a little about why I am here...

I have found myself in a place in my life with no pets of my own. As an animal lover I miss having them around. My last dog Millie unfortunately passed away in 2021. She was a very special little dog and its not quite time yet to bring another dog into our life. 

Until the time is right to have my own pets again (current living situation not compatible with animals) I have been house sitting mainly Dogs & Cats, with my daughter, over the last few years on the Trusted House Sitters site.

I was brought up on a farm, and have had animals around me my whole life. These included dogs, cats, goats, sheep, cows, pigs, poultry,  guinea pigs, rabbits, ponies, and horses.

I also have had my own pets over the years including horses, dogs and a hamster.

My Dad owns and trains greyhounds. I held a kennal hand licence in the past as I helped to take care of them. This included walking them and taking them to the races.

I worked in horse racing yards as a teenager.
I have certificates in NVQ Level 1 horse care, NVQ Level 2 Racehorse care, 
Health & Safety Emergency First Aid and 
Animal Care and Pet First Aid & CPR Training 

I have a daughter who is 15yrs old currently, and has experience of dog and cat sitting with me from the Trusted House Sitter House sits.

She would be accompanying me on the pet sittings. She is a cat lover and very good with shy timid animals, like cats and small dogs.

During a House Sit or House Call you would get regular updates and if requested photos/videos.

The dog walks can be anything from a 30 minute to an hour walk. Longer walks are available if requested.
