Hi, I’m Owain! I’ve recently returned to Glasgow after several years living and working abroad. I’m looking to spend my summer exploring the city, staying active and spending time with some four-legged companions along the way.

I currently offer dog walking and home visits. At present I am not offering dog boarding, doggy daycare or overnight care in my own home.

I’ve grown up around dogs and have experience caring for pets belonging to friends, family and neighbours. As an active person who enjoys walking, running and being outdoors, I’m happy to tailor walks to suit your dog’s age, fitness level and personality. My standard walks are usually 30–60 minutes, although I’m happy to discuss longer walks where appropriate. Depending on location and scheduling, I can normally offer one or two walks per day.

For home visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, companionship, play, toilet breaks and basic care while you are away. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, administering routine oral medication and sticking closely to any instructions, routines or training that your pet is already familiar with. I am not a professional dog trainer or groomer, but I am happy to reinforce training that owners already have in place.

My schedule is very flexible throughout summer 2026 and I am often available at short notice. As I am currently between teaching contracts, pet care fits easily into my daily routine and I can dedicate significant time to the animals in my care. Clear communication is important to me, and I am always happy to provide updates and photos following walks or visits.

In my professional life I work with young people and have extensive experience in positions of trust and responsibility. Reliability, communication and treating others with respect are qualities I take seriously, whether I’m looking after students, people or pets.

Above all, I want owners to feel confident that their pets are safe, comfortable and well cared for. Every animal is different, and I will always take the time to understand their individual needs before providing care.
