Hello! My name is Iona and I have had pets and been an animal lover all my life. I am currently staying in a flat that doesn't allow pets, so I am absolutely bursting with love to give to yours!
I have experience with small animals, cats and dogs.

I volunteered with an animal rescue through my time in high school. I spent my evenings dog walking and sitting with cats that required extra socialisation before they could be adopted.

I also have experience looking after pets for friends and family, including cats, rabbits and my granddad's wee terrier, TJ.

I grew up with rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. So I am very knowledgeable when it comes to care and dietary requirements. I feel small animals can be stereotyped as being easy to care for and requiring less time but you can trust that I know exactly how much love, attention and time they need to thrive. No animal (no matter how small) will be overlooked in my care.

I am a very patient and calm person who knows every animal has an individual personality. I am more than happy to adapt to any anxieties, special needs or quirks your pet may have.

I know how nerve wracking it can be to be away from your pet. I will send plenty of updates and photos to keep you in the loop on how they are doing. I am more than happy to spend extra time during house visits to play, cuddle or just sit and be some company for your pet.

I am also happy to do light house sitting duties such as watering plants or feeding fish.
