Hello, I'm Lucrezia 🐾

I live with my best friend Duke, a 13-year-old Bull Terrier. I grew up with animals, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to work in the animal welfare industry. I started working at the SSPCA last September (where I adopted Duke), but prior to that, I had been volunteering there for three years. This experience, together with my lifelong exposure to animals and my passion for them, gives me a great understanding of animal behaviour and their needs.

I currently work part-time since I want to dedicate most of my time to Duke, and I know how difficult it is to be there for your furry friends when working a full-time job. The reduced hours also give me some flexibility during my days off. Duke absolutely loves other pets (and people too)—he is the kindest soul, and it would be our pleasure to spend time with your pet when you are away.

What I Offer:

Dog Walking (approx. 45–60 mins): I live right in front of Glasgow Green and would be happy to take your dog with Duke and me for a nice walk to the park, or stay closer to your local area. Please note: An introductory meeting is not strictly required for walking bookings, as I am happy to walk your dog separately if they prefer their own space.

Doggy Day Care: Your dog can join Duke and me for the day. This includes multiple toilet breaks, some playtime, and cosy naps in a calm environment.

Dog Boarding (Overnight): I would be happy to look after your dog overnight and will make sure to follow their usual feeding and sleeping routine.

My Environment & Suitability:

I live in a pet-friendly flat. To ensure every guest gets plenty of love and attention, I only host one pet at a time.

Because Duke is a senior boy, I specialise in caring for calm, older dogs who enjoy a relaxed pace of life.

🤝 Meet & Greet Requirement: For all Doggy Day Care and Dog Boarding bookings, I require a brief introductory meeting beforehand. This is just to ensure that Duke and your pet get along well and feel completely comfortable around each other.

⚠️ Note: To ensure a peaceful environment for Duke, I cannot host high-energy or boisterous dogs that might be a bit too overwhelming for a senior pup.
