I’m Alex, a fairly new Glasgow resident. I’m lucky enough to have had two lovely (and very different!) black cats in my life so far, both rescues.

Sherry was older and needed a lot of gentle care and daily medication. Lennie is young and full of energy and needs an eye kept on her as much as possible! Between them, they have prepared me for most cat temperaments.

I have also taken care of my doggy nephew, a retired racing greyhound, on many occasions over the last eight years.

I am an active person and love to walk so longer walks are not an issue if required. That being said, some dogs prefer to stop and smell the flowers and I understand that too! I'll match your dog's pace and make sure they get the exercise they need.

I understand that some dogs aren't too keen on other animals and I'll keep them feeling safe and secure at all times while out with me if you let me know their preferences.

I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet and I’m happy to do whatever is needed to keep up their routine and set your mind at ease. Playtime, cuddles, treats, a certain walking route - whatever your cat or dog likes, let me know and I’ll be there for them.

If any medication is required, rest assured that it will be given on time. I know from personal experience that this can be a real worry if someone else is taking care of your pet.

Litter trays will be kept clean while you’re away. It’s something that can be overlooked by catsitters but it’s hugely important for keeping cats happy!
