I always ensure I have your veterinarian's contact information readily available, along with details of any pre-existing conditions or medications your pet may have. My first priority would be to assess the situation and provide immediate comfort and first aid if necessary. I would then contact you immediately to discuss the next steps, whether that involves a trip to the vet or another course of action.
