I am an experienced sitter, who will love and care for your precious animals, giving you peace of mind while you are away. I am a total animal lover who has cared for animals my whole life. I grew up with cats, dogs, ponies, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters, many of them rescued. I also have experience looking after chickens, ducks, chinchillas and fish.
I treat every animal as an individual with their own personality and quirks. I also understand how important it is to follow their regular routines, for their contentment and well-being.
I am very calm and reassuring, leading me to specialise in anxious pets (and those owners who are anxious themselves about leaving their pet). I bond well with rescue pets who may have many issues from their past. I also enjoy caring for senior pets, who often need more patience and may have medical conditions.
As a former community pharmacist, I am a very conscientious, resourceful and trustworthy person to look after your home. I am also confident to administer any medication required. I am pet first aid trained, fully insured for housesitting and have a current DBS check.
My hobbies are drawing, writing and reading, so I always have a lap available for many hours of pet cuddling if desired. I love housesitting for many reasons, the most important being the lovely animals that I care for. I have many regulars that I return to, always receiving a guaranteed, enthusiastic welcome.
