Hello my name is Gemma and I live in Fishponds. 

I stepped away from Pawshake for a little while whilst my kids were growing up, but now I'm back and can't wait to start looking after your pets again. I work from home which I share with my older children, our cat Ivy, and our two rabbits Brandon and Jaygo.

I love animals but know what a pain it can be when you go on holiday or have to travel. I will happily look after your pets whilst you are away, and give them the attention, company and reassurance they need. If your pet wants to have a little play or cuddle i can do that. If your pet just wants chill out time I can do that too. I am happy to look after elderly and disabled pets and can administer medication as required. I am experienced with insulin injections and reactive dogs, which I can walk in the dog field in Winterborne.

I have also previously been a volunteer with the Cinnamon Trust and have also previously rehomed hamsters, rats, chickens and a tortoise. We used to have rescue chickens whose company we really enjoy, and hopefully will again one day. Before kids I volunteered at Bristol Zoo, where I helped with the husbandry of spiders, reptiles, giant snails and cockroaches. 

Whilst you are away I will send you updates and photos so that you know your pets are doing okay. When I am visiting your home, I'm also happy to put bins out, water plants, draw curtains etc.
