Here at Community Paws, your pet is treated like a part of the family - valued, important and loved. The priority is their happiness and wellbeing. 

Animals are my #1 passion in life, and having had pets all of my life, I understand that they are family; and I will give yours the same love, respect and dedication that I give my own.

EXPERIENCE

I have been a caregiver for a variety of animals (dogs, cats, small animals, birds and reptiles) my entire life; domestically and internationally. I have taken that love and devotion and turned it into my career;

I have been working with dogs of varying breeds for over 25 years, including rescue dogs, and am trained as a VN, with a certificate in canine behaviour.

I have over 25 years extensive experience with cats. I specialize in feline medicine and behaviour, and am a feline behaviouralist. I have extensive experience with cats with behavioural problems; having worked with many cats over the years aiding their transition from feral to domesticated in order to be adopted. I have done cat caring at Cats Protection UK and was an outreach teacher for them for several years; teaching at schools across London about cats and their welfare; was the coordinator for Waltham Forest branch and worked with the Epping Forest branch as well. 

For me, pet sitting is not a hobby but my career that I am devoted to; I am passionate about it and genuinely care about your pet(s).

Additionally, my home is inspected yearly for safety by the local fire department, I am DBS certified, and am a member of The International Veterinary Information Service. 

SERVICES

When I am with your pet, I play with them, give them affection - as well as take care of their needs. They are given a minium of 3 walks a day, and a plethora of a variety of indoor and outdoor enrichment (toys, lick and snuffle mats, scavenger hunts and scent trails, and puzzles for stimulation). They are provided with a variety of all natural treats, a selection of dog beds to fit their choosing and fresh, filtered water. As well, I offer weather/season specific supports (a dog pool, cooling mats, ice bowls and chews, dog icecream and frozen yogurt, pupsicles and cozy blankets). I have a large, green garden for them to play in that has dog furniture, a digging area and a dog pool. For older dogs, I provide an orthopaedic dog bed and a heated therapy mat. Here, we also celebrate holidays, birthdays and anniversaries; with gifts and special treats. Welcome packages are provided to new, long-term clients which also include a rewards card that offers multiple booking discounts. 

I also want to assure you this is my main profession; not a hobby or side job - all my dedication is into this and your pet. I am consistently attending pertinent seminars and workshops to continue to grow in how I provide for your pet.
