I had dog in my house since the day I was born. We had 3 dogs so far until the last one died and we decided not to get another one as we were so attached and disheartened after his loss. I have cared for my friends and family’s dog since then. Not just when they were away but even on weekends as I enjoy spending time with them. They genuinely make me happy. My recent experience of pet sitting was for my friend’s dog in Didcote, Oxford where she had plans to leave for Italy to deliver a workshop where on a very short notice she asked me to pet sit her 2 rescued dogs which I had never met before but we had wonderful 2 weeks together by playing in the garden or watching cartoon which they really loved! :)

Dogs do make me happy and I love having them around me.

I coexist with the dog and alter my schedules accordingly on the day I dog sit. I pet them like a friend and play with them to keep them engaged. I
