Hello, we’re Emma and Andre, owners of Sit & Stay Helensburgh; a small, personally delivered pet, plant and property sitting service covering Helensburgh and the wider West Coast of Scotland.

Emma grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, with dogs in the house and everything from cows to peacocks in the garden. She has been house sitting and dog walking for around 15 years. Andre has had dogs throughout his life, bonds easily with animals of all kinds, and, as ex-forces, is always happy with long walks, muddy boots and all-weather adventures.

We live in Helensburgh with our young daughter and our own dog, and we understand how important it is to know your pets are being cared for by calm, capable people. Our focus is on pets staying settled in their own familiar surroundings, with care tailored around their usual routine rather than a rushed, generic drop-in.

We can help with home visits, cat sitting, small-pet care, one-to-one dog walking and house sitting. Visits can include feeding, fresh water, litter or toilet care, companionship, play, walks where needed, and reassuring updates. If helpful, we can also water agreed plants, bring in post, manage simple home routines and keep an eye on the property while you are away.

We are especially well suited to owners who want thoughtful, one-to-one care and clear communication. Whether your dog needs a proper walk, your cat prefers quiet company, or your pets simply need someone reliable to keep things calm and familiar, we would be very happy to help.

Before any booking, we like to arrange a meet-and-greet so we can understand your pet’s temperament, routine, health needs, home setup and anything that helps them feel safe and settled.
