I've been caring for dogs and cats casually for over 10 years and now offer a professional, reliable and bespoke 24 hour pet sitting / 'drop in' service for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes and needs in their own environment. 

--Qualifications/Experience--

I've an advanced first aid certification, studying further pet sitting qualifications, have a comprehensive pet sitting insurance with public liability cover and also enhanced DBS check so you can trust me to treat your furry friends and your house like they are my own. I have experience with whelping, puppy care, older dogs and cats and administering medication. I drive and have a dog harness for any journeys

--Services--

Pet sitting - 24 hour overnight care in your house. My rate includes up to 2 pets dogs/cats and 3 additional (3 x cages or tanks of rodents/ bunnies, birds, fish etc) This option is brilliant for animals that may have separation anxiety, general anxiety, elderly Animals, puppies and ones that do not do well with other pets or places, pets that need focused care and companionship and like their own surroundings and routine. This will consist of me being a key holder and guest in your home, eating and sleeping (I need a guest bed/clean sofa, use of the toilet and sink, a kettle for tea/coffee and maybe broadband access but bring my own bedding, food and drink and always shower at home)

Drop in visits - either 1 or 2 half hour visits per day to pets in your home. Generally cats that need basic services such as food, water and litter changes or independent dogs that do not require round the clock care such as when you are at work or if they are less mobile. Will just need a key and use of a toilet.

These services being provided in your home also means you do not need to worry about vaccinations, kennel cough, being in heat, on medication, recovering from illness etc

Times are flexible to suit for both options and you may want a combination of both dependent on the time you are leaving/returning.

extras - additional prices for more than 2 pets. Injectable medication. Pre agreed vet or training visits to cover travel and time. Drop offs/pick ups if your pets need to be transferred to or from an address other than the normal home location

Discounts - 1 free visit/walk per month provided for weekly re-occurring visits of more than 3 visits per week after qualifying period of 4 weeks

Walks

45 minute walk in the local area up to 2 dogs. Alternatively a shorter walk and food/drink, games and cuddles for the 45 minute duration - your choice

I only walk your dogs - they will have 100% of my attention. Sorry, I do not walk aggresive/reactive dogs or muzzled dogs

--What To Expect--

I focus on keeping as close to your pets everyday routine to lessen any stress of you not being there, lots of cuddles, stimulation and engagement.

For new clients I will always ask to complete a meet and greet so I fully understand your pets needs and what ideal pet sitting/drop in visits look like to you. I get to know your dog and ensure I am 100% prepped for your booking.

I have my own car with dog harness and am very reliable, communicate clearly and you can depend on me to leave your house clean and tidy, your plants watered, mail moved away from the door, curtains opened/closed, rubbish disposed of wheelie bins put out for collection and bought back in, downstair main rooms mopped and hoovered at the end of a stay of 3 days or more and your privacy respected throughout.

Litter trays will be cleaned and changed regularly, exact food and toileting/walking routine followed and the utmost care and attention provided to your furry babies, whether that is goig for a long energetic walk, a tootle round the park, ball games or just snuggling up on the rug or sofa for belly rubs and cuddles

I am flexible to tailor the right care required whether drop in visits/all day and night visits or something inbetween. I travel up to 5 miles from WF9 for drop ins but can arrange full care pet sits further afield but will charge mileage costs for any journeys in excess of 5 miles - to be agreed

I love all pets - but have a special place in my heart for Staffys having had these since being a teenager and have also had cats, chipmunks, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and a chinchilla. Ive cared for all these animals for friends and families from being a teenager with chickens, pigs, ducks and geese being added to the list. Since offering paid professional care I have cared for both indoor and outdoor cats including one that required multiple medicines each day, pedigree and mixed breed dogs, mice and an axolotle! I am happy to feed and provide water, food and bedding checks for caged rodents, fish, birds, guinea pigs and rabbits, chinchillas and chipmunks, tortoise and hedgehogs. I do not care for an insects, spiders, reptiles or snakes, pets that are aggressive to humans or walk dogs that are actively aggressive to other dogs/have to be muzzled.

--A bit about me--

I am a house proud 'mature' Mum of 2 teenage boys and an adult daughter. I work part time for a Building Society Mon-Weds from home mainly, lived in Hemsworth for +10 years and have many professional qualifications within my finance position. I've found myself with free time having moved to part time co parenting and reduced work hours and my boys seemingly wanting to sit on Xboxes all day and not mingle with their mother!....I want to use that time to do what I love and excel at - shining up houses and caring for animals
