Animals have been a central part of my life since I was young. I grew up with cats and developed a deep understanding of their personalities, quirks, and needs — from the sociable ones who follow you from room to room to the independent ones who just want things done on their terms. That early experience gave me a genuine sensitivity to animal behaviour that I carry into every sitting job I take on.

Over the past year I've been working as a dog walker in Berlin, building a hands-on routine of daily walks across the city with dogs of all temperaments and sizes. I'm confident handling larger, stronger breeds as well as smaller dogs, and I know how to keep things calm and controlled when other dogs are around. Reading a dog's body language and responding to it comes naturally to me at this point.

Last summer I took on my first full house and dog sitting placement, looking after another family's home and pets for two weeks while they travelled. It was a big responsibility and one I took seriously — maintaining routines, keeping the home in good shape, and making sure the dogs felt settled and happy the whole time. It gave me a real taste of what owners need from a sitter: reliability, communication, and genuine care.

Outside of the practical side, I just really enjoy spending time with dogs. Long walks, off-lead runs in the park, and a proper game of fetch are my idea of a great afternoon.
