Hi! I'm Francis 👋

I've had dogs and cared for cats my whole life, so caring for animals has always been not only a part of my life but a passion of mine. I have spent time in conservation sites helping rehabilitate a wide range of animals.

I also spent much of my teen years working as a dog walker, giving me experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities.

Living close to Hampstead Heath means I'm lucky to have one of London's best walking spots right on my doorstep. Whether your dog loves long adventures or prefers a slower, more relaxed pace I feel happy to accommodate for anything. Walks typically last between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on your recommendation and how the dog is feeling that day! 

I understand that no two dogs are the same. Some thrive on plenty of exercise and play, while others need patience, reassurance and a calm environment. I would like to take the time to get to know each dog's personality so they feel safe, comfortable and happy in my care.

Walking multiple dogs

When walking more than one dog I will only walk dogs together if I'm confident they're well matched in temperament, size and energy. Every dog remains under close supervision, and I know quiet, secure routes where I can give each dog the attention they deserve. If you and I feel your dog would be happier or safer on an individual walk then that's what we'll do!

Daycare

For daycare, I aim to create a relaxed, enjoyable day that balances activity with plenty of downtime. Depending on your dog's routine, their day might include walks on Hampstead Heath, games, enrichment activities, cuddles, rest breaks and lots of one-to-one attention. I want every dog to leave feeling happy, mentally stimulated and content—not exhausted or overwhelmed.

A typical day

Every day is shaped around your dog's needs obviously but a typical day could include a toilet break some cuddles, food and gentle play, followed by a walk tailored to their energy levels. After returning home, there'll be time to rest, relax and recharge before more enrichment, attention and another outing if appropriate. Fresh water, comfort and regular toilet breaks are always available, and I'll keep you updated throughout the day with photos and messages so you know your dog is having a great time.

In case of an emergency

While emergencies are rare, I believe it's important to be prepared. Before caring for your dog, I'll make sure I have all the important information I need, including your emergency contact details, your preferred veterinary practice and any relevant medical or behavioural information. If an emergency ever arises, my first priority is keeping your dog calm and safe while contacting you immediately. If urgent veterinary treatment is needed, I will take your dog to your nominated vet (or the nearest available emergency vet if necessary) without delay and keep you informed every step of the way.

My goal is simple: to provide the same level of care, attention and affection that I'd want for my own dog. I look forward to meeting you and giving your dog a safe, fun and caring home away from home.
