I have had cats for over 15 years, including cats with disabilities and with chronic conditions requiring medication. I've been working as a catsitter since 2022 and have worked with shy cats, friendly cats, elderly cats, kittens, single cats, groups of cats, and cats needing medication. I've also been a Cat Care Volunteer with Cats Protection, for which I have taken online classes in cat care, cats' needs, and cat health. I have an enhanced DBS certificate.

Each visit will be at least 30 minutes. I will do food and litter, and check water, as the very minimum - if your cat wants to play, I will also do playtime, and administer any oral medication needed. I will send you photos every day so you know what your cat is up to while you're away!

I love getting to know each individual cat and their needs. If your moggy is shy or has a difficult background, I will never pressure them to interact - I will wait for them to come to me, giving them space to feel comfortable and secure around me. If your cat is high-energy, I will play with them (my favourite is "chase the Dreamies" but if your cat has a special toy, let me know!). I will also happily sit there with your cat on my lap purring away if that's what they want.

I do catsitting around my day job, which means my visits will usually be early mornings or after 6:30 pm. I can work with you to make the schedule as regular as possible if needed, but cannot always guarantee an exact arrival time.
