I’ve had dogs my whole life, quite literally since I was born! Growing up, my nickname was Dr Doolittle because of the way I naturally seemed to connect with animals. I’ve always loved being around them and have a real soft spot for getting to know their different personalities and quirks.

I also volunteer with Dogs Trust, and while I was at university I regularly volunteered my time walking dogs in the Peak District who didn’t have homes or families of their own. I’ve therefore had experience with all sorts of dogs, including big, small, young, senior, energetic, playful, timid and anxious dogs. I’m also very comfortable around dogs who can be more reactive, including barking or needing a little more patience and understanding. I’m always happy for owners to be completely honest about their dog’s behaviour and needs so I can make sure they’re comfortable and properly cared for.

I offer dog boarding, doggy day care, house sitting, home visits and dog walking. Walks are a minimum of 30 minutes, home visits are a minimum of 30 minutes, and boarding, day care and house sitting can be arranged around whatever length of stay you need. My availability is flexible and I’m happy to accommodate overnight stays.

I live alone in a flat in Islington with access to a huge garden, and I’m surrounded by parks and plenty of green space. I don’t have any pets of my own, so your dog gets my full attention. They would never be left alone while in my care.

I’m happy to care for all breeds and sizes, including puppies and senior dogs. I can also look after multiple dogs where they already know each other and are comfortable together. I’m open to caring for other animals too, provided we’ve discussed their individual needs beforehand.

Most importantly, I want your pet to feel at home, safe and completely comfortable while they’re with me. I’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible, give them plenty of attention and keep you updated with photos and messages so you know they’re having a lovely time.
