About Ryan
Hi! I'm Ryan, originally from Brazil and now living in London.
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family always had at least four dogs at home, along with cats, horses, and many other animals. Caring for them has been part of my everyday life for as long as I can remember, and I truly can't imagine my life without the connection I have with animals.
My sister is a veterinarian, and through her I have had the opportunity to help care for rescued animals of many different kinds. I've helped look after newborn puppies after C-sections, rescued wildlife, and exotic animals during their recovery. Among them were rescued owls, a marmoset, and other animals that needed patience, attention, and gentle care. These experiences taught me that every animal has its own personality, needs, and way of communicating.
Throughout my life, I have also had the chance to connect with many different species, including unusual pets and wildlife. These experiences strengthened my respect for animals and taught me the importance of patience, calm handling, and always prioritising their wellbeing.
I have always enjoyed building strong connections with animals through trust, positive interaction, and understanding. I have experience teaching dogs basic commands such as sit, paw, lie down, and wait. My Border Collie especially loved learning new things and was able to learn more advanced tricks, including rolling over, spinning, jumping, standing on command, and even opening the gate.
Since moving to London, I've fallen in love with the city's beautiful parks, and I wanted to combine two things I love: spending time outdoors with animals and helping people feel confident that their pets are receiving loving and reliable care.
During walks, I focus on making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy. I enjoy giving them time to explore, sniff, exercise, and enjoy their surroundings while providing attention and positive interaction. I always adapt activities to each pet's age, energy level, personality, and individual needs.
Having grown up with multiple dogs at home, I am comfortable caring for more than one pet at a time and understanding that every animal has a different personality and routine. Whether your companion is playful, shy, energetic, or elderly, I will treat them with the same patience, affection, and respect that I have given animals throughout my life.
For me, animals are more than just a hobby. Wherever I go, I always look for opportunities to connect with them. From the smallest creatures to the most incredible wildlife, every animal has something unique to teach us. My passion for animals is part of who I am and something I want to carry with me throughout my life.
I would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry (or feathered!) family member and provide them with the care, attention, and love they deserve.
