I have always adored dogs, and since my childhood rescue dog recently passed away I’ve been really missing having a doggy friend. I would love to spend time with any dog, although small and medium sized dogs are preferable! If I pick your dog up, they will have access to a doggy-proofed private garden with Primrose Hill only 5 minutes away, and Hampstead Heath 15. I'm keen to spend time with dogs, whether that entails exercise or just down time, and am happy to spend time with them in my home and garden. I am also happy to doggysit at your home.

Having owned a dog for 13 years, I'm accustomed to keeping the home safe for dogs (no loose wires, careful with food etc) so will ensure your pup is well looked after if they are visiting the house. I live in an apartment, with plenty of space to run about - dogs are allowed everywhere except the bedrooms! As a student (largely online) I have plenty of time on my hands which I’m keen to spend with a new canine friend!

Services

I am happy to walk your dog for up to 2 hours once a day, and will take two dogs if they are well-behaved. I am happy to doggysit for however long the owner requires, and can also water plants and carry out basic housekeeping tasks. I am well-practiced at administering oral medication, and am happy to brush your dog and practice basic training. I am more than happy to look after your dog for a short-term period, and longer-term stays will be considered if the dog is comfortable and familiarity has been established. I am usually free during the day on weekdays, although with notice can be available throughout the week. I largely work online, so will accompany your dog throughout the day and avoid leaving them unattended. I will keep owners updated on progress throughout the day, and will be easily contactable. The local vet is a 5 minute walk away.

The House - CURRENTLY NOT OFFERING OVERNIGHT STAYS

If your dog requires a longer stay, we will be spending time in my home. This is adult-only, and my family (4 adults) all have experience looking after dogs. The large private garden is fenced off and doggy-proofed - our dog was a bit of an escape artist so all possible escape routes have now been sealed off. The guest pets can sleep in the conservatory or my bedroom depending on what they're used to and where they feel comfortable.
