I've had dogs for most of my life and understand just how important it is to know that your dog is in safe, reliable and caring hands.

Over the last few months, I've been regularly helping an experienced local dog walker and providing cover for him when needed. I've really enjoyed getting back to spending time with dogs and being out walking them, as well as getting to know owners, understanding their needs and, importantly, building rapport and trust. This has encouraged me to start offering my own local dog walking and pet care service.

I'm fully insured, DBS checked and have completed pet first aid training. I believe in getting to know both the owner and their dog before starting, so I'm very happy to arrange a free meet and greet to discuss your dog's personality, normal routine and any particular needs.

Dog walking

I offer 30-minute and one-hour dog walks, depending on your dog's needs. I have experience walking dogs individually, in pairs and in small groups, and prefer to keep group walks to a maximum of three dogs so that each dog receives plenty of attention and care.

Walks are tailored to your dog's age, fitness, temperament and usual routine. I enjoy using local parks, footpaths and open spaces around Houghton Regis, Dunstable and the surrounding areas.

I'm particularly interested in providing a personal and dependable service rather than taking out large groups of dogs. I understand that every dog has its own personality, routine and needs, and I'm happy to discuss these with you at the free meet and greet before agreeing any care.

Home visits

Home visits are normally around 30 minutes. I'm happy to follow your pet's normal routine, including feeding, providing fresh water, letting dogs into the garden for toilet breaks, cleaning up any pet mess, and spending time giving your pet company, attention and play where appropriate.

Medication

I'm happy to administer routine tablet medication where the owner provides clear instructions.

Availability

I currently have good availability on weekdays for both morning and afternoon dog walks and home visits. I'm happy to discuss regular bookings as well as occasional cover.
