About Laíssa
Hi! I’m based in Brighton and I genuinely love spending time with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’m a friendly, reliable, and responsible person who enjoys being active and going on daily walks. I'm 18 years old, I'm a student and I want to enjoy my free time to walk and care dogs. I live in a good area in Brighton, with parks and squares near me.
I have experience caring for different types of dogs, including energetic, shy, and senior dogs. I’m confident handling various behaviours such as pulling on the lead, high energy levels, or more anxious personalities. I always stay patient, calm, and attentive to ensure every dog feels safe and comfortable.
I’m happy to follow any specific instructions regarding your dog’s routine, including feeding, walking preferences, medication, or special needs. I can also provide regular updates and photos during walks so you can feel completely reassured while you’re away.
When meeting a new dog, I take the time to observe their behavior and build trust gradually, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. During walks with multiple dogs, I keep a close eye on each one, maintain control, and make sure everyone gets along, providing a calm and organized environment.
I also prioritize safety at all times, including checking surroundings for hazards, using proper leashes and harnesses, and handling unexpected situations calmly and confidently. My goal is to make sure every dog feels loved, secure, and happy while in my care.
Each walk is tailored to your dog’s needs — whether that’s an active walk with playtime or a slower, more relaxed pace. My walks typically last between 30–60 minutes and include exercise, stimulation, and lots of care and attention. I can take more than one dog at once, I'm available after 3:30 pm until the rest of the day. Usually, my schedule is very flexible, so we can arrange the best time for you and your pet.
Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I always use secure leads, stay alert at all times, and choose safe, dog-friendly walking areas such as parks and quiet neighbourhoods.
I also have personal experience with medical care, including administering medication and injections, as I take care of my own diabetic dog. This makes me confident in handling emergency situations calmly and responsibly.
I will treat your dog as if they were my own — with love, care, and full attention. 🐾
