We are lifelong dog owners in our early 50s, I run my own business from home alongside my partner who works from home remotely. Dogs have always been at the centre of our lives— growing up with Poodles and Yorkshire Terriers to Jack Russells, a Pointer, and several mix breeds and now our two friendly, sociable whippets. Caring for dogs is second nature to us and becoming a pet sitter felt like a natural extension of that.

We offer a genuine home-from-home experience. We both work from home, so your dog will have constant company and supervision—never left alone for long periods. Our routine already revolves around our own dogs, so welcoming a guest dog fits in seamlessly. We walk at least three times a day: typically an hour in the morning, 30–40 minutes at lunchtime, and another hour in the evening, with a final short outing before bed.

We live in a spacious three-storey townhouse in Brampton near Huntingdon with a fully secure, fenced garden, and we’re surrounded by parks and green spaces perfect for safe, enjoyable walks. We are close to a beautiful river walk, interesting urban street walks, grassy meadows that are fenced and safe, walks around various lakes, and the beautiful Hitchingbrook Country Park is less than 10mins walk away.

Inside, our dogs (and yours) are treated as part of the family—they are free to relax on the sofa, sleep in our bedroom, or wherever they feel most comfortable, always getting cuddles, treats and lots of attention.

We both have extensive hands-on experience, including regular daytime and overnight care for other dogs. We’re comfortable administering oral medication (tablets or liquid), and we’re happy to wash or groom dogs if needed—especially after muddy adventures. While we don’t offer formal training, we are calm, confident handlers and can manage different temperaments, including more sensitive or slightly nervous dogs.

We take up to two guest dogs at a time, ensuring plenty of attention and a relaxed environment. Our own whippets are very friendly and non-territorial, and we introduce new dogs gradually and calmly, usually with a walk first to ensure everyone feels safe and settled. Food times are always supervised to make sure everyone is treated equally.

For safety, we only accept fully vaccinated and neutered dogs. Our home and garden are secure, and we supervise interactions closely at all times.
