I’ve always been an animal lover and grew up around dogs and rabbits, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I currently have two rescue dogs of my own, which has given me valuable hands-on experience with different needs, personalities and behaviours. One of my dogs is reactive, so I have personal experience understanding triggers, managing walks carefully and making sure a dog feels safe and comfortable in different situations. My other rescue dog has additional health needs, which has also given me experience with providing extra care, following routines and being attentive to changes in their wellbeing.

I also regularly look after friends’ dogs, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different temperaments, ages and routines. I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility and allows me to offer dog walks, day visits and overnight stays in your dog’s own home.

For walks and day visits, I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, toilet breaks, playtime, exercise and lots of attention. For overnight stays, I stay in your dog’s home so they can remain in their familiar surroundings while you’re away.

Having rescue dogs myself has taught me the importance of patience, understanding and allowing each dog to settle at their own pace. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m happy to take the time to understand their individual needs, including dogs who are nervous, reactive or require additional care.

As my partner can care for my own dogs while I’m looking after yours, I’m able to give your pet my full attention when I’m booked. My priority is always to make your dog feel safe, happy and comfortable, while giving you peace of mind that they’re in caring and experienced hands. 🐾
