I grew up with cats, and now I have two of my own! As a teenager my friends would joke that I would 'speak cat' as I made friends with so many on the street. The neighbouring cats often come to hang out in my garden, too, and I have names for them all. I'm very used to scaredy cats, friendly cats, fiesty cats and every character inbetween. I understand the need to build up trust, and I'm very happy to follow and find out the needs of these furry but particular animals!

I am an artist based in east London, so my freelance work allows me to be flexible on timings for cat sitting/ feeding and keeping them company. I'm used to looking out for all types of medical problems with kitties, including finding ways to encourage them to eat.

My own cats are called Mirko and Monella- they are from Brixton and Isle of Dogs and are two very beautiful kitties with completely different characters! Monella arrived first, and she is definitely the boss of the household, she keeps everyone in line. The name Mirko means 'the peaceful one', and he takes this role very seriously, avoiding conflict with Monella and providing an abundance of cuddles for his humans whenever possible.

I'll send you updates every day with photos and videos of your furry friends, updates on how much they ate, played and asked for pets so that you can have peace of mind. I usually spend 45mins to 1 hour in each home when I look after kitties, because I know they need some social time to play, eat, and also to become comfortable with me. I am a cyclist, so I am happy to travel up to 2 miles from my home to take care of your cats.

In an emergency, such as a cat being very lethargic with their head down I would take them to the nearest animal hospital (mine is Goddards Wanstead) and call you to keep you abreast of the situation.

With feisty cats, I know that they need time to get used to me, my scent, my voice and so I would spend some time sitting at their level, talking to them in a soft tone and letting them get used to my presence.

Having two cats of my own, I am not squeamish about cleaning litters. If your kitty needs grooming in the hot weather I would be happy to do so. Please feel free to ask me any questions!
