Hello! I’m a mum living in North Kessock, and animals have always been a very important part of my life. I grew up with pets and have many years of experience caring for animals. I currently have a lovely cat of my own, and over the years I’ve cared for dogs and cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish and many tortoises. I’ve also looked after ponies and ridden horses, so I’m very comfortable around animals and enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and routines.

I’m a homeschooling mum to two daughters, aged 8 and 5, who are both calm, gentle and huge animal lovers. As they are homeschooled and are with me during the day, they will normally accompany me on walks and visits. They are very respectful around animals and understand that some pets want lots of attention while others need their own space. I am always the responsible adult and your pet’s safety, comfort and needs come first.

I’m particularly interested in dog walking and pop-in visits. I can offer 30-minute, 60-minute or longer walks, including walks of around 90 minutes for dogs who would enjoy a longer outing. I like giving dogs time to sniff, explore and enjoy themselves rather than simply rushing through a walk.

For dogs, cats and smaller pets, I can also provide pop-in visits in their own home. These can include feeding, fresh water, companionship, play, cuddles, litter changes and other normal care according to your pet’s routine.

I’m most comfortable with friendly, manageable dogs who are happy being handled on a lead. I wouldn’t be the right person for very large or extremely strong dogs who pull heavily, as I want walks to be safe and enjoyable for everyone. I’m very happy to discuss your dog’s temperament and needs before accepting a booking.

I don't offer overnight stays for pets in my own home. I am happy to provide house sitting in your home for suitable bookings, but because my daughters would need to come with me and I have my own cat at home, this would need to be discussed and agreed in advance. 

I’m based in North Kessock and would particularly love to build up some regular local clients for walks and pop-in visits, but you can contact me even if you live a bit further away. I’m available during the week, but I keep Sundays as a day of rest and don’t take bookings or reply to messages on Sundays.

Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, relaxed and genuinely cared for, and I want you to have peace of mind while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet and learn all about their individual personality and routine. 🐾
