My name is Erica, I'm 63 and I'm here to offer to look after your much-loved pet while you are away.

For me that means being a trustworthy companion to your pet and to you, making sure they receive what they need in their routine and you receive regular updates and know from my feedback that all is well back at home.

I love animals and get on well with dogs, cats and furry friends in general. I have had pets from an early age and so I have a lifetime's experience of relationships with dogs and cats in particular.

I get on particularly well with older dogs, calm dogs, and dogs who are well trained and biddable.

I don't like to have to be too strict with animals and prefer to treat them as a well behaved companion in a partnership because we are well bonded.

I don't have any pets of my own at the moment but I live with some lovely pets.

Potter and Fred are a dog and cat and are lovely companions.

I am lucky as I enjoy their company on a daily basis.

I understand from my own experience that a pet is another valued family member, who needs love, care, and attention in the same way that we all do. I'm happy to do this as it is natural when I have bonded with an animal to care about their welfare and want to do the best for them.

I also love looking after people's homes while they are away. providing security just by being there. :)

I understand that when you are away, you need to be confident that your pet is safe and secure at home, being well taken care of, with all their needs met, as if you were there....well a good second best anyhow. :)

I am self-employed and work mainly online.

I also create my own artwork and so I will be about a lot of the time.

I have had cats and dogs of my own and so I am used to having a four-legged friend as an ongoing presence alongside me and whatever I am doing.

If you decide to arrange a meet and greet with me, you can show me one of your pet's favourite walks, so I can continue it in your absence.

I like to take dogs out several times a day in 20 minute stints, morning, noon and in the evening.
