I’ve always loved animals and have always had pets in my life. I currently have two cats of my own, and until moving into my current home I always had dogs too. I really miss having a dog around, so I’m looking forward to getting my doggie fix through Pawshake! 

My three children have all inherited my love of animals and between them have dogs and cats, so pets are very much part of our family life. I’m also the very proud ‘grandpawrent’ of Todd, a gorgeous and bouncy 1-year-old Labrador who keeps me entertained whenever I get the chance to see him.

I work for the NHS, so I’m reliable, responsible and caring and work to high standards. I work Tuesday to Friday, so Mondays and weekends are when I have the most availability, although I can also offer dog walks and drop-in visits on most evenings.

With my daughter soon moving away from home, I’ll have more free time and would love to spend some of it doing something I genuinely enjoy. I also love walking, so dog walking is a great way to combine exercise with spending time with animals.

I’m happy to offer dog walking, home visits, house sitting and pet sitting, and I’m comfortable caring for dogs, cats and everything in between. I’ll always take the time to understand your pet’s individual personality, routine and needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Whether your dog needs a good walk and some company, your cat needs feeding and fuss while you’re away, or your pets need someone trustworthy to stay with them, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for.

My own cats mean that I’m not able to offer boarding for dogs or other animals in my home, but I’m very happy to provide care in your home where your pets can remain in their familiar surroundings.

I’m based within a 10-mile preferred radius, but I’m happy to travel further for the right booking. For longer journeys, I may ask for a small additional contribution towards fuel costs, agreed with you beforehand.
