I am currently a teacher who is maternity leave and looking at changing my direction of work. I have got two dogs of my own and love meeting other dogs when out of the house. One of them can be quite nervous, so I have a few tactics to help those who may also be nervous when out on walks. I also have a very young baby and would like him to get used to dogs and animals as they are very much part of our lives. Over my life, I have had rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamsters, cats and dogs as well as looking after my friends cats and mice.

I am always looking after my in laws dogs as well as other family members animals. I am always carrying around dog treats, so I am someone who puts on a new coat and can guarantee there is a poo bag or treats hiding in there somewhere.

I am offering dog walking and home visits within my services. During the dog walking sessions, it will only be your dog. They will have lots of enrichment within the walk from long sniff times and some on the spot basic sit and down stays with treats as rewards. Any allergies will need to be noted before walking. I will aim to walk your dog anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the size and requirements of your dog. Dependent on location, I enjoy a more rural dog walk, where they have lots of grass to walk through and lots to stimulate their senses.

Whilst in the drop ins, I am happy to see to other animals you may have, such as cats, Guinea pigs and hamsters. I haven't had any experience with birds or ferrets, however would be happy to provide them with food or water. I can also water plants and put any Mail into a designated space in the house. One drop in a day would see me dropping into your house between 9-12 and then two drop ins would be between 9-12 and 3-6. If you have an early morning drop in, you will then have an early evening drop in. I aim to spend 30-45 minutes (if one to two pets)or a little longer if you have more than two animals, making sure they have a trip to the toilet and some play time outside. I am also happy to create any enrichment activities, like snuffle mats, if this is something you would require.
