Hello! This is Ros (human) and Steve (dog) - thanks for looking at our profile 🙂

I love all animals and have done all my life. I started pet sitting several decades ago and I love them all (but especially dogs). Steve is my baby and I understand that pets are an extension of the family. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when you're leaving your loved one in the care of someone else. 

At home there is currently just me and Steve, although in the last few years we have occasionally fostered rescue puppies while they were looking for a permanent home. Steve is neutered, fully vaccinated, up-to-date with flea and worming treatment, and in very good health. We regularly look after dogs and Steve is very happy to share his space and play with his new friends. He is good with all dogs, big or small.

I work from home everyday (except Tuesday) in a role that is flexible and relaxed enough for me to take Steve for multiple walks a day, as well as interacting with him regularly during work time (although he's generally happy to find a nice sunny spot for a snooze). Dogs staying in the house would have constant supervision and plenty of walks and interaction.

I want to offer a home-from-home experience if your pet is staying with us and we've got spare dog beds, crates, bowls, blankets and towels so you don't have to bring them if you don't want to (but can do if your dog would prefer their own things). I will be led by you and your pet to ensure their stay is relaxed and happy as possible, including where you think they will be most settled sleeping. Steve is allowed everywhere in the house (including beds and sofas) and guest dogs will be equally welcome (unless you specify you don't want that).

We live about 5 minutes walk from Manor Road community woods, which is a lovely off-lead walking area for the dogs to explore.

When your pet is in my care I will keep you up-to-date with messages and pictures to let you know how your pet is getting on. I will generally only take in one other dog at a time, so your pet will get plenty of attention.

I can administer oral medication and have transport if they need emergency transportation to a vet.

I can offer daycare or boarding at my house, daily or twice daily pet visits or dog walks locally within a 2-ish mile radius of BS31.

I offer a free meet and greet session for any new dog so that both you and I can be happy and confident in booking a stay.
