My nine-year-old cockapoo Skye is adored by our family and allowed to rule the roost. Having grown up with cats, dogs, goldfish and sheep on a Croft, animals are a big part of my life. I am happy to have our two children share a love for animals too. They treat Skye like a princess but would love to give any visiting dogs the same care.

Since my wife works from home there’s always company for more anxious dogs. She also loves to get a break to walk Skye at lunch time too!

I’m home early evenings and weekends and I get up very early for those early morning walks and toilet breaks. Skye likes to get out early in the morning and late night walk too so they are easily done.

We have an enclosed back garden for regular breaks and a nature park beside us with other lovely walks to vary our routine. We will occasionally go further afield to mix our walks with Skye to give her different stimulus.

We have enjoyed looked after family and friends dogs and Skye enjoys the company of other dogs too.
