Hi! My name is Marta and this is my introduction as your pet's new best friend!

I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. When I was born, I already had a little best friend called Zar. He was with me until I was 15, and although I could only see him a few times a week when we went to the countryside, those moments were always the happiest part of my days. Growing up with him made me realise that the bond you have with an animal is something really special. They become part of your life, your routines and your heart in a way that’s hard to explain.

I’ve also been lucky enough to grow up with a country house where I’ve had the chance to care for the different animals that have come into our lives, especially dogs and cats. Being around them has taught me so much about their different personalities, habits and needs. On top of that, my aunt has a pet care business in Spain where she grooms and bathes dogs, looks after them and offers doggy daycare. I’ve had the chance to spend time with her, see how she works with the dogs throughout the whole process and learn from her experience. It’s been lovely to see how much patience, care and understanding goes into making every dog feel comfortable and happy, and it’s something I’ve always enjoyed learning more about!

Since Zar passed away, I’ve always loved spending time with my friends’ and family’s pets whenever I get the chance. I miss having a little furry friend of my own so much, and while I’m waiting for the right moment to have one again, I’d honestly love to give yours all the cuddles, playtime and attention they could wish for!

I’m a university student living in a clean, peaceful flat with four lovely flatmates who are also animal lovers. So your pet would have plenty of people happy to give them attention, play with them and make a fuss of them! We have a really spacious living room, a long hallway for indoor games and lots of green spaces nearby for lovely walks, exploring and playing outside.

I’m quite flexible throughout the week because I don’t have many university classes, so I’m happy to arrange dog walks, long adventures, or doggy daycare. And if your dog is more of a couch-and-cuddles kind of soul, that’s absolutely fine too! I can also look after cats, whether they want to play, have company, enjoy a little fuss or simply do their own thing while I keep them comfortable and cared for.

One thing I’d really love is for you to tell me EVERYTHING about your little one! What’s their favourite treat? What food makes them happiest? Do they have a favourite toy, a funny habit, a favourite game or a trick they love showing off? I want to know all the little things that make them who they are! And of course, please tell me about any allergies, medication, health conditions or special needs so I can take the best possible care of them.

I know that leaving your pet with someone else can feel a little daunting, because they’re not just pets, they’re family. I’d want you to feel completely comfortable with me, and I’d be more than happy to send you photos, videos and little updates throughout the day. I would love to get to know their personality, make them feel at home and give them a really lovely time while you’re away.

Honestly, I think animals make life so much happier, and getting to spend time with them is something I’m genuinely excited about. I can’t wait to meet your little best friend, get to know all their quirks and give them so much love! 🐾💕
