Hi, I’m Nikolai, a reliable and caring pet sitter with over 3 years of experience looking after family friends’ and neighbours’ pets. I have cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I understand that every pet has different needs, routines, and energy levels.
Animals have always been a big part of my life, which is one of the main reasons I wanted to become a pet sitter. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, building trust with them, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I also have a dog and a cat myself, so I understand the responsibility, patience, and care that goes into looking after animals properly every day.

I’m a very active person who enjoys daily walks and runs, so energetic dogs and longer walks are never a problem for me. My walks are usually between 30 minutes to over an hour depending on the dog’s age, routine, and energy level. I’m also happy to relax and spend quiet time with pets that prefer a calmer environment or may feel nervous around new people.
I’m confident following feeding schedules, crate routines, training rules, medication instructions, and any house rules owners provide. I adapt well to different pet personalities and behaviours, whether they are playful puppies, anxious rescue dogs, older pets needing patience, or highly energetic dogs that require extra exercise and attention.
Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. In stressful or emergency situations, I stay calm, act responsibly, and contact the owner immediately while following any instructions provided. During house sitting, I respect the owner’s home, keep pets on their normal routine, and make sure they feel secure in their familiar environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.
My schedule is very flexible, including early mornings, evenings, and overnight care if needed, and I will always treat your pets with the same love and care that I give my own animals.
