Hi! My name is Aoibh O’Neill and I’m a university student with a genuine love for dogs and animal care. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have my own dog back home, so I’m very familiar with the responsibility, routine, and care that goes into keeping a dog happy and healthy.

I have previous experience walking dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments, always making sure they feel safe, exercised, and well cared for while following owners’ routines and preferences. I’m happy to offer both long, energetic walks for more active dogs and shorter, relaxed walks for older dogs, puppies, or those who need a gentler pace. I really enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active, which is one of the reasons I’m motivated to work as a dog walker and pet sitter.

At home, I also help care for our donkey, including daily feeding, grooming, and general care. I have a dog called Teddy, and I’m fully responsible for his care — including walks, feeding, worming, and overall wellbeing. This hands-on experience with different animals has helped me develop strong awareness, patience, and confidence when handling pets of varying sizes and personalities.

My approach to safety is always a top priority. I carefully follow owners’ instructions, keep dogs on secure leads, stay aware of surroundings, and make sure pets are comfortable and stress-free at all times. I’m attentive to body language and behaviour, and I always put the animal’s wellbeing first.

Pet owners can expect clear communication, reliability, and genuine care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and will always keep owners updated and informed, providing peace of mind while they’re away.

My special skills include confidently handling dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, adapting to individual routines and needs, and providing calm, patient care. I’m more than happy to accommodate special routines, feeding schedules, exercise requirements, or any specific instructions to ensure each pet feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for.
