Hello! Thank you for considering me to care for your dog. I would love the opportunity to welcome them into our home and look after them while you’re away. As a lifelong dog lover, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust, and I will always treat your dog with the same love, kindness, and care that I would my own.

We were lucky enough to share our lives with a wonderful Border Collie for over 18 years. Sadly, we lost him at the age of 18½, but caring for him throughout every stage of his life—from an energetic young dog to his senior years—gave us invaluable experience and a real understanding of dogs’ changing needs. Looking after him in his later years taught us patience, compassion, and the importance of maintaining routines, administering medication, and providing gentle, attentive care.

Our home is a calm, non-smoking household with a mix of vegan and vegetarian family members. We provide a peaceful, safe, and loving environment where dogs can relax, feel secure, and enjoy plenty of attention and affection. We also have a fully enclosed, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors under supervision.

Your dog’s happiness, wellbeing, and safety will always be my highest priorities. I understand that every dog is unique, so I will take the time to learn about their routine, personality, and individual needs. Whether it’s feeding times, medication, favourite toys, sleeping arrangements, or exercise requirements, I will carefully follow all of your instructions to keep their routine as familiar as possible.

I only accept one booking at a time (unless the dogs are from the same household), so your dog will receive my full attention and won’t have the stress of being around unfamiliar dogs. This allows me to provide truly personalised, one-to-one care in a calm and relaxed environment.

While in my care, your dog will be treated as a member of the family. They will receive regular walks suited to their age, breed, and energy level, plenty of playtime, companionship, cuddles, and opportunities to relax. Fresh water will always be available, and if your dog requires oral medication, I am happy to administer it exactly as instructed.

For your peace of mind, I am happy to send regular updates, photos, and messages throughout your dog’s stay, so you can relax knowing they’re happy, settled, and well cared for.

Safety is extremely important to me. I will never let your dog off the lead unless you have specifically given your permission, and I will always put their welfare first. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately and seek veterinary care if required.

Before your dog’s stay, I’d love to know as much as possible about them, including their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medical requirements, favourite activities, likes and dislikes, and any little habits or quirks that make them unique. The more I know, the better I can make their stay feel like a true home away from home.

My aim is for every dog to feel relaxed, loved, and completely at home from the moment they arrive until the moment they return to you. I look forward to meeting both you and your dog and providing them with a safe, caring, and happy place to stay where they’ll be treated as if they were one of our own.
