Hi, I’m Dani! 🐾

I have recently left my teaching career to move into the charity sector since having my own daughter. I now have a little more time on my hands and couldn’t think of a better way to spend it than by making some new furry friends! As a former special needs and early years teacher, I’m naturally patient, understanding, trustworthy and caring. I’m used to adapting to different personalities and needs, and I’ll always take the time to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable and cared for and that you feel like you’re leaving them in good hands!

Animals have always been a part of my life. I currently have two wild rescue cats of my own, Daisy and Pippa! But I’ve always had rescue cats and have therefore been a part of rehabilitating multiple cats and helping them feel calm, settled and safe in their new home. Throughout my childhood and teenage years a family member owned a cat rescue shelter that I regularly volunteered at, so had the privilege of bonding with cats of all different ages and temperaments! I have also pet sit cats, hamsters, rabbits and fish for family and friends for a number of years now. I spend lots of time walking, so I’d love to have some canine company during these times too!

I know from having my own pets just how difficult it can be to leave them and put their care in someone else’s hands. They’re your family, and you want to know they’re safe, well looked after and genuinely happy while you’re away. I do my best to keep your pet’s usual routine, give them plenty of love and attention and make sure they feel as comfortable as possible in your absence. I ensure you feel comfortable too by offering visits to meet and get to know your pets before sitting for or walking them and take photos and give updates with every visit to help you not miss them too much!

With two quirky cats of my own, I completely understand that every pet has their own personality, preferences and little routines - no request is too strange! 😁
