Hi, I’m Lucy. I am a reliable and caring pet-lover, with a current basic DBS certificate which I am happy to share with you on request. I am also insured with pet sitting and dog walking insurance. I have always loved animals of all shapes and sizes and had lots of pets growing up. A few weeks after moving into our first home, my partner and I welcomed our cockapoo Lillie to our family. Lillie was a puppy when she came to us, so I am used to handling energetic younger pets! I have also helped friends and family out with their pets so am comfortable with a variety of breeds and temperaments. If you have a nervous or reactive dog I will be happy to tailor the walks and visits accordingly and will ensure I follow your instructions with regard to any training protocols you have in place for managing these behaviours. I will make sure to give nervous plenty of space and time to adapt to me and get comfortable.

I am available Monday to Friday and most weekends for drop-ins and dog walks and can be flexible with times depending on the needs of your four-legged friend! I am also happy to do longer pet visits, including full and half days if preferred. I offer 30 minute or 60 minute walks and also 30 or 60 minute pet visits or 'drop-ins'. Drop-ins include feeding, refreshing water, clearing of litter tray (if applicable) and lots playtime and cuddles!

I know leaving your pet with someone else is a big decision and understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet. I will treat your home and your pet with absolute respect and will spend time understanding your pet’s needs, preferences and routines and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for. I will always do a free initial meet and greet once a booking is confirmed. As part of the meet and greet we will discuss details for emergency situations including an emergency contact person and also your pets vet details.

Your furry-friend will receive lots of attention tailored to them, if they love playtime, I will make sure to focus on their favourite toys and enrichment activities, if they love a lot of fuss and affection, we can focus on the cuddles! If you have a dog who loves investigating new smells and scents (like my dog Lillie does!) I will allow plenty of time for them to follow their nose on walks.
