Hi! I'm Rachael, British animal lover and experienced house/pet-sitter. For the past 10 years I've lived between Portugal, India, Costa Rica and the UK, where I've taken care of many homes and animals.

I work online from home as a Relationship Coach. So at least 75% of the time I would be at home caring for your beloved pets. Previously, I spent a decade in the corporate world as a Project Manager / Senior Account Manager, so I'm pretty organised.

I have experience with dog training, so I understand dogs and can communicate with them well. I prefer dogs with a level of training who can listen and respond to commands, but I'm definitely not 'strict'. We have a family dog (Poochon) who I spend alot of time with when I'm back home, and we have had dogs and cats for the past 20+ years.

I've personally adopted and cared for many beautiful cats over the past ~25 years and always form a strong bond with them, offering a good balance of freedom and connection depending on their character.

During my role as an eco-community and retreat center manager in Portugal and Costa Rica I was responsible for large properties with several animals at a time.

I'm loving, playful and affectionate with animals and respect them as 'individuals' with their own unique quirks and personalities.

I'm extremely clean, tidy and organised. I like to leave spaces better than I found them and treat any home I'm welcomed into with care and respect. I'm always happy to water plants and gardens as needed.

I practise yoga and meditation, teach workshops on healthy relating and communication skills, and live a clean, mindful and holistic lifestyle. I eat a mostly vegetarian diet, and very rarely cook fish or meat at home - if that's a preference you have, I can easily adapt.

I'm also happy to water indoor and outdoor plants (high success rate of keeping them alive!)

I'm currently available in and around London and prefer longer sits, minimum 1 week.
