Luckily, with Pawshake, you can easily find local and trusted pet and dog carers from Merseyside to provide drop in visits and other services. This means a pet sitter will come and visit your pet at a time you both agree on and provide lots of love and personal attention. In home pet sitting services are a great way to break up the day and enrich it for your pet. Pawshake pet sitters have extensive experience caring for a range of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and more. If you have multiple pets, home visits are a great option to ensure that they all get a visit and lots of attention during the day.

Drop in visits are the least stressful option for your pet because your pet can stay in their favourite environment – their own home in Merseyside. Their surroundings will be familiar and our loving and passionate Pawshake sitter will spoil them each day. Our sitters will treat your home with respect and are flexible with timing, requests and durations. All this can be discussed before you make a home visit booking.

Pet boarding is a great option for when you are away for a few days and your pet needs overnight care. Unlike pet hotels, Pawshake pet boarding allows you to arrange a personalised daily routine for your pet, whether this be extra belly rubs, playtime or 24 hour supervision. Your pet will stay with the pet sitter in a cosy home environment, rather than a large, impersonal pet hotel.

So whether you need just one day, a week or even a month, you’ll be able to find an experienced pet or dog carer to accommodate you and your pet’s needs in Merseyside. The best part is that your Pawshake pet sitter is from your local neighbourhood, so they will be familiar with the area.

Our pet carers also have a range of experiences which include puppies, seniors, nervous pets and dog training. So if your pet has special requirements, you’ll be sure to find a pet sitter that is a good match for you.

Your pet’s safety and welfare is a big priority for us, which is why all of our Pawshake pet sitters undergo a strict vetting process by our trust and safety team. At Pawshake, we understand that you might feel a little uneasy allowing a pet sitter to enter your home or arranging pet boarding at their place. This is why Pawshake pet sitters also have reviews from other pet parents that are publicly available on their profile for you to read.

Each pet sitting home visit and pet boarding booking made through Pawshake is covered by the Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer support 7 days a week and more. Rest easy knowing that your pets will be well looked after by one of our expert pet carers in Merseyside.

Hiya I’m RossDog walker, pet sitter, driver so I can take your dog on a big hike if preferred.I've had pets all my life, currently got my 2 cats Mateo & Churro.I’m an absolute animal lover through & through - whether they have paws, scales, or feathers, I’m their biggest fan. I struggle to even walk past a dog in the park without stopping and waving at it.. so I'm looking to turn my passion for animals into a bit of extra income while getting the chance to meet some amazing new characters. I know how important your pets are to you, and I promise to treat them with the same care, patience, and affection as if they were my own. Whether it’s a long walk in the park or a quiet afternoon of company, I’m here to make sure your pets are happy, safe, fed and loved.I'm happy to take your pets out on a walk, pop in to feed them, give them some company and play with them for a bit. Prices are based rates but happy to offer discounts for long term bookings, etc.I unfortunately cannot have pets at our house incase they do not get on with my 2 cats.If she's available - my partner may join me who is equally as enthusiastic to be around animals.I do have 'travel charge' but that's only if I I have to drive 20 mins or so. If you're within 15 minute walk or so from Sefton park I wouldn't be charging a travel fee.

Your Cat’s Soft-Hearted Second Human Cats have always found their way into my life in the most unexpected and beautiful ways. Back in Bangladesh, I was part of a foster and rescue network connected with an animal lover group in Sylhet. Many stray, abandoned, injured, orphaned, and special-needs cats were brought to me for temporary care; especially tiny kittens, anxious cats, and injured rescues who needed patience, warmth, and gentle handling. That journey is how I found my own cat, Zizi. He was only a few days old when he was rescued after being brutally injured. Caring for him through recovery created a bond that changed my life completely. Later, another rescue cat named Trumpy came into our lives after being abandoned because of a nerve condition. When he was diagnosed with FIP, we stayed beside him throughout his 90-day treatment journey with hope and patience. Alhamdulillah, he survived and became one of the first recorded FIP survivors in Sylhet, Bangladesh.Because of these experiences, many local cat owners trusted me whenever they needed help during short trips or emergencies. I became comfortable caring for different personalities, from playful kittens to shy, anxious, traumatised, or medically sensitive cats.I always try to build trust slowly and gently, never forcing interaction. I usually use toys, treats, soft play, calm energy, and catnip to help nervous cats feel safe and relaxed. Over time, even the shyest cats usually become attached to me.As a sitter, I will always treat your cat with genuine care, patience, and affection - not simply as a job, but as a little soul that deserves love, safety, and understanding while you are away. I am also happy to follow feeding schedules, medication routines, special instructions, and provide regular photo/video updates for your peace of mind. If you are looking for someone soft-hearted, trustworthy, and genuinely caring for your furry family member, I would be very happy to help. 🤎P.S. My availability is before 10am and after 4pm. I would prefer home visits at your house.

I have been living with cats for 8 years and currently care for two indoor cats: an 8-year-old Maine Coon and a 4-year-old Siamese. Through daily care, I have become very familiar with cats’ habits, body language, moods and individual personalities. I understand that every cat is different. Some cats are confident and playful, while others need more time, quiet space and patience before they feel comfortable with a new person.
My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from my own experience as a cat owner. I know how important it is to feel that your cats are safe, relaxed and properly cared for while you are away.
I mainly offer cat visits, including feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, playtime and photo updates. I am especially comfortable with indoor cats and understand the importance of keeping doors and windows secure, maintaining a clean environment and following each owner’s instructions carefully.
I will always respect each cat’s routine, personality and boundaries, and I will take time to build trust gently. I am happy to care for vaccinated cats and to discuss each cat’s needs before any booking.
