I have extensive experience caring for nervous, anxious and reactive dogs, including foster dogs from rescue backgrounds.  I have completed dog behaviour and pet first aid courses and use positive,  force-free handling methods. I understand that every dog is an individual and work at their pace to help them feel safe and comfortable. 

I only do solo dog walks (or dogs from the same household) to ensure I give your pet my full attention and the best care possible. I currently have limited availability on Mondays and Tuesdays but plenty of availability Wednesday to Friday.  I am willing to work weekends if necessary. 

I have 2 rescue dogs of my own so have first hand experience of complex trauma in dogs. 

Alongside standard dog walks I also offer basic training (sit, stay, recall, walk to heel etc) and am happy to work alongside the dogs owner to ensure consistency. 

I offer 30 and 60 minute walks to cater for each pets needs. Before each walk I spend a few minutes doing some easy reward based training to encourage the dog to bond with me. I will respect the owners wishes regarding the walk, for example if the owner advises the dog is scared of traffic then I will avoid busy roads. Under no circumstance will I let a dog off lead until I am 100% confident they have recall to me and only then with the owners permission. 

Dog walking is my main service. However I also offer small pet care for your smaller furry (or feathered!) pets.

I treat every animal as part of the family, because that's what they are to me.
