I'm Abbie, i've recently graduated from uni and moved back home and I'm now looking for work. I love animals, and I have taken care of many pets over the last 6 years including cats, dogs, chickens, fish and hamsters ranging from a daily drop in to house sitting for a week. I grew up with rabbits till age 11 but since then I haven't had any pets so I love to volunteer to take care of others' pets whenever I can. I offer house sitting, daily visits and dog walks, but I will be working full time from September so daily visits would have to be after 5pm and dog walks after 5pm or on the weekends. If you would like me to house sit I would prefer to be able to reach your house by metro or bus as I don't drive. I am happy to look after any pets but unfortunately I am afraid of reptiles so I can't look after snakes or lizards etc. I am very flexible with pet care, and I always follow instructions carefully. Walking durations and frequency can be as little or as large as neccessary for the pet, as well as the feeding routines. If your pet were to get sick or injured I would always inform you, the owner, and personally deal with minor issues and take the pet to the vet immediately if anything more serious were to happen. I am also happy to follow more specific instructions you may have and I am happy to answer any questions in advance and send photos and updates to keep owners reassured and comfortable whilst away from their pets :)
