Hi! I’m Roxy, a lifelong dog lover who has grown up with dogs for as long as I can remember. They have always been part of my family, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I recently moved to Newcastle for work, which means I’m no longer close to my family dogs, and I really miss having them around. Joining Pawshake is the perfect way for me to spend time doing something I genuinely love while helping owners feel confident that their pets are in caring hands.

Growing up with dogs has given me experience caring for different personalities and energy levels. I understand that every dog is unique—some love long adventures and playing fetch, while others prefer a slower-paced stroll and lots of cuddles. I’m happy to adapt to your dog’s routine, ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for.

Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are always my priority. I always keep dogs on their lead unless instructed otherwise and it’s safe to do so, pay close attention during walks, and follow any routines or training you have in place. If your dog has any special requirements, medication, or preferences, I’m more than happy to accommodate them. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I’ll contact you immediately and follow your instructions while making sure your pet is safe.

I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. Walks typically last 30–60 minutes, depending on your dog’s age, energy levels, and your preferences. During visits, I’ll provide fresh food and water, toilet breaks, playtime, companionship, plenty of affection, and regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is getting on.

I’m flexible on weekends and available most afternoons and evenings during the week, making it easy to fit around your schedule.

I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet because they’re family. I’ll treat every dog as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, and lots of love. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged best friend! 🐾
