Hi, my name is Carla! I am from Derry but am currently living and studying in Newcastle. I have a beautiful 5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback who I think the world of and miss so much when I am at university. Dogs just put such a smile on my face and I would love to experience more of that while I am at university. I pride myself in how well trained my dog is as we really placed massive importance on training when she was a puppy as we knew she would grow to be a big dog! I am very used to looking after, excerising and having fun with both big and small dogs. 

Being a medical student my timetable is busy, but on a positive it is predictable. I am off every Thursday and have all my own weekends so would love to find the find dog match that I can spend my Thursdays with and possibly my weekends. One dog is enough. I am happy to have them in my house in Jesmond to chill with me while I study with multiple walks throughout the day to break up said studying!

Though generally during the week I am very happy to walk dogs, I am a very active person and a reason to get away from my desk for an hour or two is very welcome!! I am also very into running and run with my own dog at home, so happy to take a dog trained to run on a lead for a run!
