I have recently finished my Animal Science degree at Newcastle University and am currently awaiting my final results. I have grown up around both dogs and cats, which has given me a genuine love for animals and confidence in caring for animals with different personalities and needs.

Alongside my studies, I have been working part time at Hurworth Burn Luxury Pet Hotel, gaining hands on experience caring for dogs in a professional setting. My responsibilities include supervising walks, assisting with bathing and administering medication, monitoring behaviour and wellbeing, maintaining clean living areas and meeting each dog's individual feeding and care needs.

I am confident caring for dogs of all different sizes and I pride myself on being reliable, patient, attentive and trustworthy. I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away.

I have grown up with cats my whole life and currently have experience caring for two family cats, which has helped me become confident understanding different cat personalities, behaviours, and routines. I am comfortable with feeding, cleaning litter trays, administering basic care, and giving cats the patience and space they need to feel comfortable.
