Hi, I'm Lidija 🌺

I'm an experienced pet and house sitter with over 10 years of experience and wonderful references from around the world (available uponrequest). I'm DBS checked and pride myself on being trustworthy, reliable and attentive.

Cats have a special place in my heart, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each cat's unique personality and routine. Whether your cat is playful, shy, independent or affectionate, I'll make sure they feel safe, relaxed and loved while you're away. I'm also happy caring for small dogs and following their established routines with patience and consistency.

Because I work and study remotely much of the time, I spend plenty of time at home, so your pets receive lots of companionship rather than being left alone for long periods. I always adapt my schedule around their needs and aim to keep their routine as close as possible to normal.

For dogs, I'm happy to provide one or more walks each day depending on their age, health and energy levels. Typical walks are around 30–60 minutes, although I'm always guided by your dog's usual routine and preferences.

I know how reassuring it is to stay connected while you're away, so I'm happy to send daily updates with photos, videos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for.

If your pet requires medication or has any special care requirements, I'm happy to carefully follow your instructions. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I'll contact you immediately, follow your wishes and, if necessary, take your pet to your preferred veterinary practice or the nearest emergency vet to ensure they receive prompt care.

As well as caring for your pets, I take excellent care of your home. I'm tidy, respectful and dependable, and I'm happy to water plants, bring in post, put bins out and help keep your home secure while you're away.

A little about me: I'm a healer, artist, traveller, project manager and organiser of mindfulness and self-discovery events. Friends describe me as calm, warm, well-organised and conscientious, and I truly enjoy creating peaceful environments where both people and animals feel at ease.

I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own, and every pet as if they were part of my own family.

I'm available in Penzance and throughout Cornwall during July and August 2026 and other parts of the UK after that. I'm happy to discuss discounts for extended house-sitting stays 2+ weeks.
