What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and my gentle, attentive approach to their care. I've cared for dogs, cats, hamsters and had 4 pet rats of my own. I am confident in handling pet rats and aware of illnesses to watch out for. I am happy to look after your caged small animals when you are on holiday at my home or I can come visit them daily for feeding and enrichment at your own home. Dog breeds that I have most experience with are staffordshire bull terriers, cocker spaniels, dachshund, labrador and border collie.I have also looked after two clients cats while they were abroad. I made daily visits to them, feeding, changing water and having play time with them.
I have experience of training a puppy basic commands such as sit, stay, paw, lie down. I also trained one of my pet rats to sit on my shoulder whilst I carried out tasks round the home. This shows my passion for building trust with the animals under my care.

For dog walking, I will take advice from the owner but my usual route would be round the nearby lakes or Whisby. I am also happy to provide day time care for up to 5 hours in owners home. The walks can be 30 minutes, 60 minutes or tailored to your needs.
I understand that every pet has its own personality and needs and I always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable and well cared for whilst in my care. I will be happy to take photo and/or video updates as requested and have insurance, including key holding. I have also completed a Pet first aid course and am on the update service with my enhanced DBS check. I have a handful of testimonials I can provide upon request.
