I am an enthusiastic animal lover who prefers animals to people! I have had an ex-racing greyhound myself in the past and volunteer for the Retired Greyhound Trust and Jerry Green's Dog rescue centre 3 days a week when I'm not dog sitting or at university. This seems the ideal job for me as I have lots of free time as a student at the University of Leeds, living in Thornton-le-Moor, Northallerton. Through volunteering at Jerry Green's rescue centre, and through dog-sitting via Pawshake for nearly two years, I have cared for a number of dogs in a variety of breeds, shapes, sizes, ages, personalities and temperments, so am quite experienced in dog care and walking. I have a spacious pet friendly home in a countryside village near enclosed fields and have lots of availability from May to September especially. With being a University student I also have a month off at christmas and Easter during which I may be available too. So far as a Pawshaker I've really enjoyed the company of the dog's that I've cared for. I am glad to be of help to owners in need of my services, and hope to be able to help many more by looking after and entertaining their pets. If you think I could be of help to you and your pet, feel free to drop me a message, I look forward to hearing from you!

I can only praise everything about the dog sitting that Clare provided for my greyhound, from the first communications, right through to picking him up from his first day with Clare. Al is looking forward to having more days with Clare in the future and I'm delighted to be able to send him to someone who I have absolute confidence in to care for him like he were her own! Clare really is a gem of a dog-sitter!!
Clare has been looking after my little boy Spud for a few months now. I am always extremely nervous about leaving him with anyone as he's so tiny and needs special care and attention. I feel comfortable that Spud is in safe hands with Clare and he is very happy spending time with her.
