Hi I'm Akshaya! I've always had a deep fascination with animals and from a young age, I've committed myself to improving the well-being of domestic and wild animals alike.

I love love LOVE cats!! I am extremely comfortable with providing and adjusting care to all different temperaments. 

My main practical experiences with animals involve my 2 year long volunteering at Cat's protection where I became accustomed to handling, interpreting cat behaviour and completing basic tasks such as feeding, grooming, playing.

I've had a pet cat before and so I'm extremely happy with administering oral medication, training & handling even when they can be quite wriggly! :)

Next year, I would like to apply for veterinary medicine however I do not have much hands on experience with dogs and I'm extremely extremely eager to learn and provide any service I can. My most experienced with dogs entail my work shadowing at veterinary clinics so I'm most comfortable with basic tasks such as feeding, grooming and playing. For dog walks I have the most experience with 30-60 minutes walks where they're on leash at all times.

Additionally, I am doing a gap year and therefore I'm very flexible with travel and schedule.

I am dedicated to prioritising the well-being and safety of your pets; I will do my utmost best with looking after your pet to ensure I provide a smooth and efficient experience, I will also send you lots of cool photos of your pets which I love taking and editing (see photos at the end !!) I will graciously accept any opportunity possible ! 

Note: before booking I will always arrange an in-person meeting so I'm able to meet your pet in person and confirm details to make sure I'm a good fit.
