I love animals and have always had pets in my life and home. This has also extended to working with animal conservation in different countries.
I live with my husband (who works from home), and our son who is In his 20's. We have had dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, fish and gerbils plus fostered hedgehogs during our lives.
Sadly, we lost our beautiful Labrador recently due to old age and miss having a four legged friend to care for but have decided we do not want to own another pet for the time being.
I have retired early and have time to help you to look after your best friend with care and follow the same processes you have at home.
I am active and live close to woodlands for lovely walks. I also drive should emergency care be required.
I do live on a main road but please do not let that put you off as we have a completely enclosed back garden. The house can be accessed via the back of the house to ensure your pet is always prioritised with their safety. There is also a shallow pond in the garden which is covered for safety of the fish and young children and pets.
I am happy to have your pet, within my home or to pop in to yours to walk, feed, empty litter trays and ensure they have lots of cuddles and attention.
Unfortunately, large dogs would not be particularly practical in our home, although I have owned an ex racing greyhound and as they are mostly couch potatoes they would be acceptable.
I'm happy to consider any pet sit or care providing they are not aggressive!
House visits are only acceptable within a 2 mile radius of my village
Please contact me to discuss your pets exercise routine, food times, dietary requirement, medication, personal care and night routines plus any additional requirement eg. How long they can be left alone prior to booking.
